At FirstPort we know that our role is about more than just bricks and mortar, it’s about the people that live in the developments that we manage and helping create a sense of community.
That’s why we were delighted to support The Big Lunch at The Bridge in Dartford, Kent, a development managed by FirstPort Bespoke Property Services, on Sunday 7 June 2015. The Big Lunch is part of a national event to get neighbourhoods to eat and chat together on the first Sunday in June.
The Big Lunch at the Bridge is organised each year by Bart Woodhouse of the Beacon church and local resident of The Bridge. FirstPort sponsored the cake competition with Kelly Fox, Business Development Manager and Claire Hamilton, Regional Property Manager judging the delicious baked goods in the running! Taylor Wimpey sponsored the bouncy castle.
Talking about the event, Nigel Russ, Development Manager at The Bridge said:
“It’s always great to see such a big turnout for The Big Lunch and this year the weather was definitely on our side!
“If you live on the development, this is a good family event, a good social networking event and great fun.”
The event at The Bridge has been running for 7 years and has grown each year in popularity with the residents.
FirstPort has managed The Bridge, on behalf of Taylor Wimpey, for 8 years.
