Tell us about your role and how long you’ve worked for FirstPort
I have been with the business since 2012. I joined as a Property Manager and was then promoted to Associate Director in 2015. I oversee and manage the Luxury portfolio, which is made up of high-end residential properties located predominately in central London. I am supported by excellent on-site teams and internal support functions, to ensure our customers are receiving the best service possible.
What do you do in the first hour after you wake up?
Drink Coffee! And get myself and my three year old ready to seize the day.
What you like most about your job?
The thing I like most about my job is achieving the tasks I set out to do for our customers. There is nothing better than having a “to do” list and then at the end of the day seeing ticks next to each item as complete. I also love the interactions I have with people from all walks of life.
What challenges do you face?
I would say an on-going challenge, but also something I consider a privilege, is ensuring we uphold our high health and safety standards. The health and safety of our residents, clients and partners is FirstPort’s number one priority and a really important part of my job is to make sure my developments comply with all of the relevant health and safety requirements so we can keep our customers safe.
What led you to take this opportunity?
Ever since leaving college I have worked in the property industry and this is my passion.
What is your greatest achievement?
Building and sustaining amazing working relationships with my clients and making a difference to the buildings they call home. And, of course, raising a well-rounded three year old who I call a “pocket rocket”!
Who is your inspiration?
My son, and his positive attitude to everything.
What keeps you busy outside of work?
Catching up with friends and planning adventures with my little boy.
What personal goal have you set yourself this year?
My main aspiration is to provide an even better service to our customers through FirstPort’s digital transformation project, which will undoubtedly help improve customer experience and accelerate our customer centric drive. I would love to grow our Luxury customer base and property portfolio to new heights on the back of delivering exceptional customer service and property management.
What is one thing that people may not know about you?
I can’t swim!
