Meet Hidayat Peruzi, a Service Charge Accountant working in one of our busiest departments.  Find out what a typical day looks like in one of our friendly and collaborative teams working to support our Property Managers and customers.

Transcript:

Hidayat: We have to consider that our customers are not all accountants, so everything has to be very neatly presented, very simple, very easy to understand. I think that’s the motto that our department works on.

“I take great pride in my work. I try to be as neat as possible, as tidy as possible, as the other service charge accounts do.

“Because at the end of the day we are presenting very important information and that needs to be very accurate.

“One of the things that I really admire here is there’s a very diverse workforce, so that’s a big, big plus for me.

“Of course, with accounts preparation, there are deadlines to be met. But other than that, you are given your own freedom, your own independence, and if you need any help, there are always people available.

“FirstPort are willing to invest in you as well. So, in terms of your training and your further studies that you want to do and that fits very well into your work as well.

“There’s a great balance between work and your life outside of work. I can honestly say I feel very relaxed here. I get my work done, I’m appreciated for my work, and I don’t think I’ve had that anywhere else.”
