We’re delighted to share our four Unsung Heroes for 2026:

Marius Dinu, Development Manager

Having started his career as a concierge, Marius now manages a development which consists of over 700 homes across 15 blocks, bringing a grassroots understanding of residents’ needs. He runs weekly surgeries, block‑by‑block engagement sessions and an open‑door policy that keeps him visible, trusted and relentlessly hands‑on – receiving positive feedback and cultivating positive relationships with residents and other key stakeholders.

Marius’ contribution goes far beyond day-to-day operations and problem solving – he creates a community  for residents to enjoy and be a part of. From Halloween, Christmas and Easter events to charity toy drives and upcoming celebrations for Mother’s Day, he’s revived the heart of the development and set a new benchmark for resident engagement.

Dedicated, resilient and bursting with ideas, Marius is the definition of an unsung hero - a young leader already making an extraordinary impact.

Dawn Tuffney, Property Manager

Since joining FirstPort last year Dawn has consistently gone above and beyond, bringing professionalism and care to every development she manages. What sets Dawn apart is her exceptional ability to build trust and meaningful relationships with residents. Her customer reviews consistently highlight not only the quality of her work, but the compassion behind it. She invests time in understanding what matters to residents listening closely to their needs, and creating places they are proud to call home.

Erika Milihauskaite, Development Manager

Erika joined FirstPort two years ago, bringing a hands-on, people-focused approach from her previous retail management experience. Her open-door policy and constant communication with residents, RMC, contractors, and clients ensure issues are resolved before they escalate. Erika combines technical skill with exceptional people management. Her dedication, hands on leadership, and commitment to resident well-being make her a true Unsung Hero.

Louise Morris, Property Manager

Louise has spent the past five years exemplifying the qualities of an outstanding Property Manager: calm under pressure, adaptable, and dedicated to doing the right thing for residents and the developments she manages. She approaches operational challenges with professionalism, whether coordinating major tree works, responding to water supply issues, or overseeing a full water tank replacement. In the latter, she managed multiple contractors, maintained uninterrupted supply, and navigated insurance processes to minimise costs, keeping residents informed throughout.

A resident summed it up:

“Louise goes the extra mile to make sure our voices are heard. It is not an understatement to say I feel fortunate to have her looking after us.”
