PMAS Awards success for much-loved FirstPort Scotland staff member

A popular FirstPort Scotland Area Manager from Inverness has been acknowledged as an industry’s ‘Rising Star of 2022’ at the annual Property Managers’ Association Scotland (PMAS) Awards.

Lindsay Holmes (pictured left), who covers FirstPort Scotland’s Inverness developments, received the award following her success since starting the role in the midst of the covid pandemic.

The PMAS Awards are in place to recognise and celebrate those in the property management sector who go above and beyond on a daily basis and are always there to offer excellent service to customers and colleagues.

Following a successful career in Retail Management, Lindsay made the decision in 2020 to look for a change. Since starting at FirstPort Scotland she has displayed significant drive and determination to not only succeed but to thrive beyond expectation.

Customer Service Team Leader Kirsty Nicol (pictured right) was also shortlisted the PMAS Awards’ ‘Support Staff Member of the Year’. She has been at the company for the past 18 years and is the key link for all stakeholders in Scotland, regularly using her knowledge and experience to influence a positive outcome for homeowners.

Paul Atkinson, Director of Client Services at FirstPort, said:

“We are immensely proud as a company to have two brilliant colleagues shortlisted for the PMAS Awards.

“I’d especially like to congratulate Lindsay for winning the rising star award. She joined the role during covid and jumped straight into it and has shown continued dedication by immediately working towards the MIRPM qualification.

“Lindsay has had a real impact across our developments in Inverness and the hard work shows in the great feedback we have from colleagues and residents.

“Both Lindsay and Kirsty are assets to our team and represent the brilliant and hardworking team leaders behind the FirstPort brand.”
