As the Government moves forward with plans to reform the residential property sector, FirstPort’s Managing Director, Martin King, welcomed the opportunity to provide evidence to the Housing, Communities and Local Government (HCLG) Select Committee last month on the future of property management and how new regulation combined with innovation from the industry can help to drive up standards for customers.
We have subsequently responded to the Committee Chair and provided a detailed update on the steps we are taking to improve our systems and customer service, and ensure our people have the right qualifications and skills to work in an increasingly complex industry.
FirstPort is a business built around people and their homes, and we continue to listen and respond to feedback from customers and MPs, building greater trust with our residents. We look forward to playing our part in supporting positive change across the industry, including proposals to regulate our sector and improve standards, which we fully support.
