- The prize draw (“Prize Draw”) is open to FirstPort’s retirement home residents of the UK aged 55 or over who provide their contact details in accordance with this Prize Draw.
- Employees of FirstPort Limited (“FirstPort”, “We”), their families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the Prize Draw may not enter the Prize Draw.
- Entrants into the Prize Draw shall be deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions.
- The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
- All entries must be submitted via bit.ly/haveyoursayls OR by post to Life & Style Team, FirstPort, Marlborough House, Wigmore Lane, Luton, Beds LU2 9EX OR by email to lifeandstyle@firstport.co.uk and only one entry per person is permitted. Entries on behalf of another person will not be accepted and joint submissions are not allowed.
- To enter the Prize Draw you must complete the survey and submit your name and telephone number. If you have any questions about how to enter or in connection with the Prize Draw, please e-mail us at lifeandstyle@firstport.co.uk.
- The opening date for entries is 00:00 on 12.04.2021. The closing date of the prize draw is 23:59 on 31.08.2021. Entries received after this time will not be counted.
- One winner will be chosen from a random draw of entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed by a random computer process. The draw will take place on 13.08.2021.
- The winner will receive a £200 Marks & Spencer voucher.
- The winner will be notified by telephone (using details provided at entry) before 13.08.2021 and must provide a postal address or email address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to FirstPort within seven days of being notified by FirstPort, then the winner’s prize will be forfeited and FirstPort will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
- The prize will be sent to the winner by post or email within 14 days of being notified of their win.
- The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
- The decision of the FirstPort regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
- FirstPort must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation FirstPort will send the surname and county of the prize winner to anyone who emails lifeandstyle@firstport.co.uk within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact FirstPort on lifeandstyle@firstport.co.uk. In such circumstances, FirstPort must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
- Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. FirstPort reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
- FirstPort reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
- FirstPort accepts no responsibility is taken for entries that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of delivery of the entry is not proof of receipt by FirstPort.
- FirstPort accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by you as a result of entering the prize draw or accepting the prize. FirstPort further disclaims liability for any injury or damage to your or any other person’s computer relating to or resulting from participation in or downloading any materials in connection with the prize draw. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of FirstPort for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence
- FirstPort shall use and take care of any personal information you supply to it as described in its privacy policy, a copy of which can be seen at firstport.co.uk/privacy-policy and in accordance with data protection legislation. By entering the prize draw, you agree to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of your personal information in order to process and contact you about your Prize Draw entry, and for the purposes outlined in paragraph 14 above.
- The prize draw will be governed by English law and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of the English courts.
