Redeveloped into residential homes in 2001 by Berkeley Homes, Knowle Village is a housing development set within the historic grounds of the former Knowle Hospital. Located just outside Fareham in Southampton, the site is surrounded by woodland and greenspaces. The village offers a peaceful setting, while still being close to Southampton, Portsmouth and the south coast.
The development was built by Barratt London in 2014, with the first occupation in 2017. The development, now fully occupied, comprises 165 private residential properties and a commercial premise on the ground floor. There is a platform viewing area off the river walkway forming part of our remit as managing agent.

Knowle Village was formerly a hospital and grounds, with some of the buildings being refurbished into flats while the remaining hospital buildings have been demolished and houses built. The development blends heritage and modern living with carefully restored Victorian buildings sitting alongside contemporary homes.
With the strong sense of community and access to walking trails amongst other local amenities, Knowle Village provides an attractive balance of countryside living and urban accessibility.
