The FirstPort Group has successfully achieved recertification of its ISO 45001 accreditation for the fourth consecutive year, reaffirming its commitment to the highest standards of occupational health and safety across its operations.

ISO 45001 is an internationally recognised standard that provides a framework for organisations to systematically manage and continually improve workplace health and safety.

To achieve certification, businesses must demonstrate a clear to reducing risk and fostering a safe and healthy environment for colleagues.

Director of Safety Assurance at FirstPort, Keith Scott said:

“At FirstPort, we take a proactive risk-based approach to everything we do. This means equipping our teams with the right tools and training to ensure they can work safely and confidently. Our fourth consecutive ISO 45001 recertification is a clear reflection of this commitment. By maintaining high standards of health and safety, we protect our employees and provide customers and clients with assurance that FirstPort operates as a best-practice organisation.”

The recent recertification process, completed across three days, involved a comprehensive independent audit that included reviewing FirstPort’s current health and safety procedures, compliance, and performance against legislation and industry best practice.
