British Safety Council (BSC)
In January 2019, FirstPort was awarded five stars in the health and safety audit conducted by the British Safety Council (BSC) for the third consecutive year. The audit provides organisations with a worldwide benchmark of their health and safety management systems against current best practice. The BSC carries out over 800 health and safety audits all over the world every year in many industries and sectors.
The Institute of Customer Service (ICS)
The ICS is the independent, professional membership body for customer service delivering tangible benefits to organisations and individuals so that they can improve their customers’ experience and their own business performance. The ICS has a community of over 500 organisation members and over 5,000 individual members. It’s the natural place for us to be.
Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM)
We’re a member of The Institute of Residential Property Management (IRPM). It was launched in early 2002 as a means of delivering a portable professional qualification in residential property management. It’s available to anyone working in the sector and one that is be accepted by all those operating within it.
Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA)
FirstPort Property Services and FirstPort Bespoke Property Services are proud members of the Association of Residential Managing Agents (ARMA). As members it means we have signed up to the self-regulatory regime ARMA-Q. This includes a Consumer Charter and a bespoke set of professional standards that are aimed at consumer protection and best practice in all areas of residential long leasehold management.

FirstPort has been accredited to Investors in People (IIP) since 2009. In 2015, following a comprehensive audit of our business, we achieved Silver status accreditation.
The Property Ombudsman
FirstPort Property Services, FirstPort Retirement Property Services and FirstPort Bespoke Property Services all belong to the independent ombudsman service provided by The Property Ombudsman. It deals with property-related complaints in England and Wales.
Homeowner Housing Panel
FirstPort Property Services Scotland abides by the requirements of the Property Factors Code of Conduct and The Homeowner Housing Panel, the independent body that deals with property-related complaints in Scotland.
