The FirstPort Group achieves the international ISO 45001 standard for Health and Safety

The FirstPort Group, the UK’s leading residential property management company, has achieved recertification of its ISO 45001 accreditation, underscoring its commitment to maintaining the highest standards of occupational health and safety across its operations.

ISO 45001 is an internationally recognised standard that provides a framework for organisations to manage and improve workplace health and safety.  FirstPort first received this certification in 2022, and the recertification process involved a comprehensive audit conducted in November 2024, which included site visits, staff interviews, and a thorough review of FirstPort’s health and safety management systems.

The auditors commended FirstPort’s approach to identifying and mitigating occupational health and safety risks, as well as its culture of continuous improvement.

Martin King, Managing Director of The FirstPort Group, said:

“We are delighted to have secured the ISO 45001 recertification as a testament to our commitment to the safety and wellbeing of everyone at our developments, and drive to exceed industry’s best practices.

“We prioritise achieving the highest safety standards for our customers, employees and contractors with initiatives that include regular training for all employees and the continuous evolvement of our safety protocols to create a culture of safety and vigilance.”
