Health & safety

What should I do if I need help evacuating safely?

Helping you stay safe in an emergency

Your safety is our priority. If you have a health condition, disability, or anything else that might make it harder for you to evacuate your building quickly during an emergency, please contact us to request a Person-Centred Fire Risk Assessment (PCFRA).

This assessment consists of a short, in-person meeting to help us understand your needs and the support you may require.

Who should request a PCFRA?

A PCFRA should be requested if any current resident:

  • Has reduced mobility
  • Has a disability or sensory impairment
  • May need assistance leaving the building quickly

If this applies to you or someone living at the property, simply complete our short form. Requesting an assessment is voluntary and only takes a few minutes.

Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP)

Following your assessment, we’ll use the information you provide to determine whether a Personal Emergency Evacuation Plan (PEEP) is required. A PEEP is a personalised written plan outlining any support or arrangements you may need to evacuate the building safely during an emergency.

  • If a PEEP is required, and we have your consent, we will share essential safety information with your local fire and rescue service. All information you provide will be kept secure and reviewed with you regularly.

We are here to help ensure your home remains a safe place. If you have any questions or need support completing the form, please contact us.
